| Firefighters, Police Rescue Four from VA Apartment Fire Dec. 31--VIRGINIA BEACH -- Four people were rescued early Sunday from a fire that caused significant damage to a Virginia Beach apartment building. The two-alarm fire was called in just after 7 a.m. at the Willow Lake Apartments & Spa, fire department spokesman Art Kohn said in a release.

| Senior Alert issued for missing Virginia man Newport News police are looking for a man last seen Sunday at around 9 p.m. who is believed to be in danger. Virginia State Police issued a Senior Alert for Gerald Hamilton Adams who is 81 years old, stands around 5-foot-9, weighs 160 pounds, and has hazel eyes, grey hair, and a thick grey beard.
